Leadership Consulting — frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about working with us, from initial conversations through to long-term partnerships and measurable outcomes.

Common questions we hear

We believe transparency builds trust. Below you will find candid answers to the questions prospective clients ask most often.

We work with organisations of all sizes, from fast-growing start-ups with founding teams of five to multinational corporations with thousands of employees. Our clients span financial services, technology, healthcare, manufacturing, professional services and the public sector. The common thread is a genuine commitment to developing leadership capability as a strategic priority, not just a human-resources initiative. Whether you are a private-equity-backed business preparing for rapid scale or a government department navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, our consulting frameworks adapt to your context.

There is no single answer because every organisation is different. Executive coaching programmes typically run between six and twelve months, with fortnightly or monthly sessions depending on the leader's needs and schedule. Team alignment workshops can be delivered as standalone one-day or two-day intensives, though we often recommend a quarterly series to sustain momentum and embed new behaviours. Organisational strategy projects are scoped individually and usually span three to six months, depending on the complexity of the challenge and the number of stakeholders involved. We always agree clear milestones and review points upfront so that progress is visible and adjustments can be made along the way.

We establish clear, measurable objectives at the outset of every engagement. For coaching, this often includes 360-degree feedback scores, self-reported confidence measures and observable behaviour change validated by stakeholders. For team programmes, we track indicators such as decision-making speed, meeting effectiveness ratings and team engagement survey results. For strategy work, we align our metrics with business outcomes — promotion rates, internal mobility, retention of high-potential talent and, where appropriate, financial performance indicators. We provide progress reports at regular intervals and conduct a formal impact review at the conclusion of each engagement.

Three things set us apart. First, we are practitioners, not theorists. Our consultants have held senior leadership roles themselves and understand the pressures of leading in real time. Second, we refuse to deliver generic programmes. Every engagement begins with a thorough diagnostic — we interview stakeholders, review organisational data and observe leaders in action before designing a single intervention. Third, we stay involved beyond the workshop or coaching session. We build follow-through mechanisms into every programme because we know that insight without application is worthless. Our goal is to make ourselves redundant by embedding capability that outlasts our involvement.

We price each engagement based on scope, duration and complexity rather than applying a standard rate card. Executive coaching typically involves a fixed programme fee that covers all sessions, psychometric assessments and between-session support. Workshop fees depend on the number of participants, preparation requirements and whether follow-up sessions are included. Strategy projects are quoted on a project basis after an initial scoping conversation. We are always transparent about costs upfront and there are never hidden charges. We are happy to discuss budgets openly during our initial consultation so that we can design an approach that delivers maximum value within your investment parameters.

Absolutely. A significant proportion of our work is delivered with distributed and hybrid teams. We use a blend of in-person and virtual formats, choosing the right modality for each activity. Diagnostic interviews and one-to-one coaching sessions work exceptionally well over video. For team workshops, we often recommend at least one in-person gathering to build relational trust, supplemented by virtual follow-up sessions. We have experience working across time zones spanning Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas, and we design session schedules that respect participants' working patterns. Our virtual facilitation approach goes well beyond screen-sharing a slide deck — we use interactive digital tools, breakout exercises and asynchronous pre-work to keep engagement high.

Our consulting team combines deep academic credentials with extensive practical experience. Team members hold qualifications including master's degrees in organisational psychology, MBAs from leading business schools, and professional coaching certifications from bodies such as the International Coaching Federation and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. More importantly, every consultant has held senior leadership positions in operational roles before moving into consulting. We believe this blend of rigour and real-world understanding is what enables us to connect with leaders authentically and offer advice that is both evidence-based and practically applicable.

The first step is a complimentary discovery conversation. This is an informal, confidential discussion — usually around 45 minutes — where we listen to your situation, understand your objectives and explore whether there is a good fit. There is no obligation and no sales pressure. If we agree to move forward, we conduct a short diagnostic phase to gather the information we need to design a tailored programme. We then present a clear proposal including objectives, activities, timeline and investment. Once approved, we begin work promptly, typically within two to three weeks. You can book your discovery call by contacting us via the form on our home page, by email at [email protected], or by calling +44 1246 619254.

How we work with you

Our consulting process is designed to be thorough yet agile, ensuring every intervention is grounded in your reality and aligned with your ambitions.

1

Discovery

We begin with deep listening — understanding your organisation's history, culture, strategic priorities and the specific leadership challenges you face. This phase includes stakeholder interviews, document review and, where appropriate, observational visits.

2

Design

Based on our diagnostic findings, we craft a bespoke programme with clear objectives, activities and success measures. We share this proposal with you for feedback and refinement before any work begins.

3

Deliver

We facilitate coaching sessions, workshops or strategy sprints with energy, rigour and sensitivity. Throughout delivery, we adapt in real time based on what we observe and what participants tell us.

4

Embed

Lasting change requires follow-through. We build reinforcement mechanisms — peer learning groups, action reviews and check-in cadences — to ensure that insights translate into sustained behaviour change and measurable results.
